Hot Rods Vietek 2K Rapid Clear Coat

At National Coatings this morning & was being recommended this clear coat paint. The price was good at $90 for 1 gallon of the clear & 1 qt of the activator

 

Details?....high gloss or satin , single stage urethane or enamel....

So, I wonder if I can sand down my peeling clear coat on my OT then reclear it even while violating the "don't mix match paint brands". Quote to repaint was $9600.
