If I had a '58 Impala, I'd do it exactly like Jim Dobb's (the candy green and gold and also the green and white panel painted).

 

Like how the Kustomizer continued the body line the length of the fade away fender . Very tasteful done . The craftsmanship is amazing. I realize that Dr Dave pointed this out already but I was excited about it and had to add my .02

 

Looks like he has some heavy duty sheet metal machines (in the background) and quite obviously knows how to use them to good advantage. Marvelous work for sure.

 

Amazing how smooth 58 Chevies look, once all the extraneous trim has been removed!
