Pretty sure my '32's front spreader bar, made from a nuclear reactor internal component, is the only one like it in the universe. Ribbed solid stainless steel. Polishes up real nice and I don't nee IMG_1872.JPG d headlights at night. Just kidding on the headlight part.

This is after I removed the gas tank, bobbed and raised the frame rails, re-used the spreader with 32 style ribbed aluminum end caps that had to be welded and redrilled to fit the 34 frame, and the same nerfs on the ends as before. License plate is mounted to the spreader.

1 1/4 in. bar, ends bent to match body contour, mounts to frame and lower edge of body, pretty simple. IMG_0279.JPG

Because they haven't gotten rave reviews from HAMB traditionalists I'll give a little support, here is my "V" spreader bar shamelss repeat.

About the closest thing to traditional on my car.

Well I guess I'll post my homebrew bar. With homebrew grill shell and headlight stands.

Can't see the rolled pan that well as I hadn't learned the camera yet, 2011, too low or too high. Sigh.... 51 New Pics 011.jpg 51 New Pics 004.jpg

On my 34 3W coupe I run a length of 2" tubing through a tube roller and put a radius on it to match the radius of the rear of the body. 100_1394.JPG

Here is mine. The nerfs were cut from 1/2" unpolished scrap/waste stainless plate.

I made up my own template and the boys that I got the plate from also did the cutting then I polished them at home.

The spreader is stainless tube with mounts welded on the the moon tank and number plate holder

The only thing unusual about mine is it is 2" of solid stainless steel bar. The only thing my pal had laying around. Quite heavy, keeps the front end down 100_1706.JPG

I'm aware this isn't a nerf bar, but it kinda looks like one. :)
