Started working at a Texaco. My biggest fear at 17 in 1963, where the gas tank filler was.

 

A lot of "drivers" on the road today could sure use one of these for practice !

 

Amen. For one thing, turn signals should be optional. Nobody uses them anymore.

It’s also important to remember that the Paxton Division shop was on the West coast building R3’s and a couple of R4’s. That Avanti could have been a well tuned R3 for Brock to drive.

 

I know what I'd be dreaming. at the speed of sound !

 

They are probably Superior Coach representatives, the cars are ‘55 Pontiac ambulances. Superior was known for hearses, ambulances and limousines.
