Parents were going across from Kazoo and their trailer self destructed. :(

I guess the good part is they're resting up here for a couple of days before they head back home. Maybe next year...

Would love to go but have no ride to take. I have some mariott rewards points dying to be cashed in/ Can I just get in with no car (hopefully costs less than the $63)? I havent been to an NSRA event since the major flood in louisville KY in 1992 (i think it was 92). I remember coolers floating around the parking lot at that one...

So what you've got no ride to take, just get in as a spectator, 10$ last year if I remember right.

I'll be there with a friend.

Called NSRA and admission is $12 for adults, $3 for kids, and under 5 yrs is free. $27 and the whole family is in. Made my reservations for Friday and Saturday night. Thanks for the original post. I had no idea this was going on!!! See ya there.

  12. Hey BOOZOO was that you that called me to tell me your father wasn't going to make it to inspect? Sorry to hear that, glad to hear we'll meet you.

I'm leaving a 8 tomorrow (Thursday), lunch at the Gorge, meeting at headquarters Thursday night. I'll be in the inspection area off and on all day Friday and Saturday. Noon meet and greet like last year is kool.

    The Weather channel says 66/66/61 and sunny/showers/showers F/S/S, let's hope they're wrong:)

    Have a nice trip.

Yes it was.... glad you got the message ok... he was out rounding up a UHaul and wanted me to call for him.... he's real sore about not getting to go, too. Can't say that I blame him.

  15. Well there's always next year. Or maybe he can make it up to York in June. Whole bunch of traditional stuff there to see. Lots of HAMBers too.

Hope he gets it all home OK.

    Later,

    Dennis

Nope, real easy choice. The p/u is gone, you won't see the '37 until next year, so that only leaves the C-Dan...ha, I love drivin that POS!:D
    Catch you guys there.

  21. Whether was fine here today. The kick-off diner was good - spaghetti and meatballs with salad, bread and a drink for like 1000 people for free put on by the local visitor's organization. The inspection area is in the same place we met last year - it's "P" on your program - the building right behind Al's french fry stand (worth coming to Burlington for on their own:) )

    See you all Saturday!

How does meeting up at Al's French Fry's at noon on Sat sound for a meet up...?

btw, It's raining right now and chilly about 30 miles south of Burlington. Forcast is for rain on Sunday and Saturday drizzly and cold... Welcome to Fall in VT :) Bring a jacket.

  26. Preacher,

We're meeting at the safety inspection area which is in the building right behind Al's. With the current forecast it will be better to have a roof over our head:(
