Going through dad's Photo album and trying to properly vehicle manufacture and type.. Any help would be most appreciated.
My Dad had one on a B-17 base in England, he called it a Weapons Carrier don't know if that was an official name or not. He used it to carry 50 Cal machineguns from the planes to his rebuild shop then back in time for the next mission. I'll post a photo once I find it. Is there a collector site that can trace the ID number painted on the hood?
I had a 40 Dodge VC Power Wagon that was a munitions truck. Not as nice as this one below…wish I would of kept it.
I really enjoyed this quest from a few years ago. Did any more info come to light ??? https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/h-a-m-b-sleuths-one-for-you-guys-to-solve.1212580/
A complete dead end. I contacted the Company and the people who were in the Archieves numerous times to no avail. Really sucked.
A war surplus Dodge VC or WC was used as the basis for Eldred Norman’s Double Eight speedster: http://www.fbekholden.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18810&start=75 Think two Mercury V8s, and competing in Grand Prix events. Cheers, Harv
