Fordors my cabriolet had the post cut off when I got it. It was a old drag car and just ran a tonna cover with cut out for the rollbar and driver. I bought the car and Bob found the windshield and posts up in the rafters a few weeks later. ECD2D772-1562-451D-8AA0-17A94C3C7759.jpeg

I wonder who has this one now as a few Hambers had it AB46CE4B-70F0-47BC-8280-DE73018B380D.jpeg C334F8D1-1948-4786-A476-4F6421630E27.jpeg

The above photo is my first car, I bought the channeled Cabriolet on Chicago’s north side in 1966. It had a 409-425/T-10 in it but I bought it as a roller. Obviously no body tag because of the channel. At 17 years old I soon realized I had no tools, money (!) or even a garage to work in. It was stored at my sister’s house until I realized it wasn’t the time for a project like that and I sold it.
Sorry about the poor picture, it’s the only one I have.

@Fordors very very cool hotrod and was she sold locally. My other cabriolet was a old hot rod and it’s channeled. I got it from a friend who had it since the 1970s and has holes in the floor for a rollbar .

Yes, mine was sold locally but that’s just an odd coincidence @continentaljohn , mine was bought by a friend who finally got it on the street decades later.

What a great idea, collecting body tag info on the '32 Ford Cabriolet! First Hot Rod I ever stood next to was a HEMI powered '32 Cabriolet in Westport, Ct. around 1961. I'll find some photos to post. Tracking it down today would be a great mission. Bob

That just may be the perfect '32 Cabriolet, is the top stock height?

Here's similar angle of mine. I'd say definitely chopped but not sure how much. My guess would be two inches; maybe a bit more. I sure like the look of it.
I didn't consider chopping mine now as I wanted to keep the original VW seats to preserve the original build spirit and without changing the seating; my big head would have been through the roof!!

Jerry Bryant of Princeton, Texas has a chopped top 32 Cabriolet with a strong 296ci flat head in it.
