    Looking to buy a new 9 inch center section. Ran across Quick Performance Racing that sells them, has Motive gear set, Timken bearings. Reviews seem good. (?) But you never know. Wondering if anyone has any experience with them or knowledge of them. Prices are much less than John's or Currie. Thanks

  2. Quick Performance is a very good company to buy from, lots and lots of racers run their equipment and you can also see their products on Roadkill garage and other Frieburger cars, like his 8 second model A

    Quick Performance Racing is a good company. I have a friend that works there welding up their axle housings.

    My nephew works there. It’s nice to have a local company so well known in the hot rod world.

    Another voter here for Quick Performance. I wouldn't think twice about purchasing from them.
    @dirtbag13 works there, also.

    If I was going to get a new 9 inch I would get one with a bolt thru housing...

    I bought a QP 9" rear about 9 months ago. 3.89:1 w/ Eaton TruTrac posi. Have about 3,ooo miles on it now. No noise at all. The TruTrac works flawlessly. Price was right also. And through Amazon, it was free shipping.

    I also had a good experience with QP building axles for my champ car. I had issues with the fitment of some parts to my original ford 9" housing and they worked with me to get all the parts to fit up.

    Another vote in favor. I have never used Quick Performance but have heard nothing but good from those who have.

    Used several rear ends from them, no problems at all.

  14. Bought a complete QP rear for my 55 Chevy this Jan.Housing,and axles,brakes came in 2 weeks. Center came in mid March.Happy with everything I got.Just wanted you to know they wont pull it off the shelf like Speedway,and ship that day. They build to order so you may get in line for it.
