Hello. My name is Lars and i am from Norway and this is my first post.
I have a 1955 ford mainline fordor sedan. The previous owner had taken out the original rear door windows and replaced it with a full window and taken out the window regulator.
And now I shall try to put it back together.
Does anybody knows what type of window rollers i need, i know the part group number is 23240.
And if anybody know the order of putting in the gl*** again.

Watch the rollers from the usual catalog sites, most sell the wrong ones for every application. My '59 took the red-molded ones. Every site sells the blue-molded ones for later Fords. They can be modified, but too much like work. I did find some of the older ones, I forget where.

Thank for the info. I found a dealer 1 1/2 hour away who has the blue ones. I found some shops in the us who has the white ones who look like there are a couple of washers on them who should fit from 52-59,but shipping prices to norway is quite high these days so i was hoping I could get them in norway. So i shall try to call farther away and see if anybody has them.

Do you have any local auto gl*** shops near you, maybe could find them there.

Worth a shot, go with the oldest shop. I needed some for a '64 Ford around 1977 and a shop actually had them. I know an old parts store locally that may have them. They have lots of NOS parts in stock.
