Projects 1915 Stutz Bearcat new gas tank

    After a 49 year wait I finally got a ride in a T Head Mercer after seeing my first one at 10 years of age. I haven't had a ride in a Stutz yet.

    That's one reason, also the original seam was on top. Here is an original tank

  4. Sure is a beautiful tank!
    I don't know a lot about tanks but it seemed back then the seam was on top
    to make it easier to repair if it leaked from the seam.
    my $2.00. used to be $.o2!
