That's a great looking old Ford! I bet it's a great driver, and I also prefer the looks of an older build vs. brand new freshly done.
I hope you don't mind, but I just saved a couple of your pics for my files. That thing sits just right.
Nope. It was built in 95 and got the typical 350/350 power train. Runs great though, so it stays as is for now.
Congrats, that is a beautiful car. Consider yourself a fortunate man. Looked long and hard and pulled the trigger on a real beaut. The thread ***le is perfect, so many of us are yet to join the "Finally got my coupe" club.
Hey Deadbird, this is only tangentially related, a stretch at best. But my Dad was a '39 guy. I dig this photo, dapper fellow back in the '40s at some point before he married my Mom. Just think, someday your kid might make a post just like this about you.
Man, that's a really tremendous looking car. It looks like if there are things you want to change, they're elective issues rather than necessary ones and stuff you can do at your convenience. Great stance too. HAVE FUN with it
That is one elegant, well sorted, glossy black, Art Deco, road king time machine! I like everything about it! You have spent your money very well!
We're getting along great. I just completed my first real road trip in it this past weekend. 550 mile round trip to Vintage Torquefest in DuBuque. The only minor issue was the gas gauge stopped working when it rained Friday night. But it started working again when it dried out on the way home. I got home Sunday afternoon about 3:00. Very happy with the trip. Then Monday morning my son and I drove it through the pouring rain to our local muffler shop to replace the gawd awful exhaust tips. I think it's an improvement. The only other change I have planned for this year is to freshen up the front suspension. After getting under it I can now see that it needs to be done. Not a big deal though. All part of having old cars.
