Got my '56 in July of '91, when I was 14. Finally got it the way I've always wanted it last year, so I know your pain.

 

It could be saved. The huge spun tank is just the spearhead for all the rest. Sad fate for a rare SD.

THAT is what I'm talkin' about Lumpy. Solid red, no bumper, Cragars, sittin about level, so bitchin. LOVE IT!!

Some wedding pics borrowing a buddy of mine's 55 since the starter on my 56 went out the day of the wedding... Ended up with a much better wedding car to be honest.

Not much has changed since 1979. Seems like the world passed us by.

 

Found this in an old family photo album. My great uncles car on his wedding day in CO Springs. He still has it, and a herd of other 5-6-7's. He got a flat on this day and had to throw the spare on
