Projects Lancer style hub caps

    Does anyone know if the Lancer style caps will fit behind the skirts on a 53 Customline? The centre of those wheels protrude a fair amount.

    If you can see the caps under the skirts, you're sittin' too high!
    I refer to my own '53 Ford Victoria for posterity.

    I dont have skirts or a 53 but they stick out pretty far on my 55. I'm on 3" blocks if this gives you an idea.

    They ‘stick out’ because of the non-stock bullets adding depth to them…..;)

    A place called King of Dice had some that were like originals & fit under my 52 Vicky skirts. That was 8 years ago.....google it.

  7. Remove the bullet and they'll fit. If the car is lowered enough any hubcap or beauty ring will work.

    Lancer caps are some of my favorites. I agree, putting a shorter bullet on the back is the ticket.

    As you can see I don't need hubcaps on m you Chevy. Real cruisers only have two wheels!
