This is the only plaque picture I have for the Lords. If you don't live in Crow Village, I'd say go for it. I have 8 different plaques for the Road Lords. Other plaques with the word "Lords" on them are the Gay Lords, Lake Lords, Lordsmen and Gear Lords. Good thing you didn't think of the name Coachmen because there were hundreds of clubs with that name back in the 50's.
In the book I have written by Fred Thomas, called Hot Rod and Custom Car Clubs, there are names of clubs that were around in the 40's, 50's and 60's. The towns with Lords clubs were: Aurora Chicago Denver El Paso Los Angeles Marin Porterville San Diego San Francisco Toledo Tucson Twin Cities Williams, IA He also shows the Lord Lifters of Erie, CO and the Lords of GWHS in Indianapolis.
There's a club in San Antonio called the Lone Star Lords. I don't think the Lords has much of a ring to it. Maybe the Canadian Lords, or Ontario Lords, or even Maple Leaf Lords. Either way, I'm pretty sure that none of the Lone Star Lords are gonna drive that far to pick a fight. Or that they would even care.
thought there was a club/gang somewhere in central california called the knuckle Draggers. not sure, but i think so.
oh yeah, saw a moonlighters jackety at the paso show this year. where are they from? actually was starting a club called tht. just didnt want to cross over onto there turf...
