Yea, but the fun part is not buying it at the pump, its burning it to go fast.

Going fast has always had a price tag on it. Speed costs, how fast do you want to go? You step up and spend your money to go as fast as you want. I've been there and done that.

Most of my go fast moments are in my history. I've exchanged going fast for going more often and going farther. Its a trade off I accepted years ago in order to still be able to play with cars. The coupe has a manual trans, I have the motor dialed in to run very well on the 87 octane junk. The manual trans allows me to have a little fun banging gears, even if I'm the only one that knows I'm racing. That allowed me to drive my coupe and my truck 8,700 miles last summer.

I stepped up and spent my money to go as fast as I wanted to go. I do enjoy watching you guys go as fast as you want to go too, but quit crying about how much it costs to go fast.:D

Great news, don't have the setting channel to put the door gl*** in my car, went to Lowe's to buy some plexigl***, yeah that ain't happening, $100 for a 2'X3' piece, that's what I pay for a 3'X5' sheet of laminated gl***. So I called the drag strip and asked if I have to have door gl*** to race in the straight axle mafia race next Saturday, he said nope, run it man!! So hell yeah! Now I'm excited

There’s got to be plenty of used plexi now that Covid dropped sneeze guards required though out the entire restraint any more.

I need the sash channels so I can put gl*** in. I'm not gonna **** with any plexigl***, I own Lloyd's autobody & gl***, not Lloyd's autobody & plexigl*** lol

You really think it'll pull a 4 second 60'? Man! I appreciate that!!! Lol... it's an 1/8th mile track, I would **** and fall back in it if it runs a 9.0

You got any 1/4mile tracks around there? It's easier for some of us ya-hoo's (me) to gauge performance a 1/4 mile at a time. ;) Would a 9 sec. 1/8 mile time equal a 22.94 sec 1/4 mile time? LOL!!! :p:p:p

Yeah Clay City is 1/4 mile. But I'm only going next week because the straight axle group is racing here. Calculator says it's 14 seconds. Screenshot_20230520-210825_Samsung Internet.jpg

14 sec. is respectable for a car like that. Put bigger jet's in the secondaries and p*** me the Asprin, those 2 thread's make my head HURT!!! :D:oops::rolleyes:
