My brother lives in Madison and every year I say I'm gonna make it out for this one, but man I don't have enough hours in the day unfortunately. I can barely get my normal stuff done.

    One of these days....

Oh crap! Just asked the wife if anything was going on that weekend, as I wanted to drive up on Friday night and stay at a hotel. My small towns biggest (and only) festival is THAT day. I’m pulling a float in the parade. :(

Neil, checks in the mail! If we want to make a pass or two down the strip what is required?

  6. For a pass down the strip you will need; a nominal fee plus 1-4 as below.
1.HELMET MUST be worn in all classes!
    2. windshields must have no cracks.
These are small items that are a BIG risk for you and for the longevity of this great weekend retreat we all have.
    3. Seat belts must be worn
    4. Speed in the pits and return road we all need to slow down please.
We will try to have a few helmets at registration that can be loaned out just need to leave your drivers license with the persons doing registration till the helmet is returned. Thanks again see you all in May.

Can anyone recommend a hotel or two they’re
familiar with in the area of the start?

Looking forward to seeing Greg's hot rod shop, if this 60 Ford is any indication of the work they do.
Hope there will be time for a shop tour.
This was at the GSTA shop in St Paul this weekend.

I believe The WI Hot Rod 100 ended at Greg's Speed shop a couple years go, if I remember correctly. It was a very cool place.

Also, pre-registration will close April 17th so we can get the shirt order in. I corrected that on the website last night.

Just a little over a week until the run! The awards are done and ready to be given to the one that travels the furthest to get there as well as a CrossMember pick. Artwork by Alan Childers of Steve Cook Creations.

Getting ready for the drive to WI tomorrow.
Looks like good weather for the HR100, should be a fun time.
(Will not be driving the 52, still not quite ready for a 500 mile plus round trip)

You guys have fun! Would love to make the run with you but have my oldest sons high school graduation this weekend. And...it’s a long ways up there from Oklahoma for a worn out old Ford. Anyway, praying for a safe and good time for you all. :D

Another WHRH in the books. Weather was great along with a bunch of great cars. Got to see some old friends that we only seem to get to see but on a yearly basis. A fun time was had by all, and thank you Neal, Ronnie and Angela for all that you do! Here are some pix that Lucy took. 23. Thanks for the photos.
Sorry I missed the ride. I had committed many months ago to the NHRA race in my area, on Friday, our normal departure date for HRH.

Had a great time. I was honored to be chosen as the members pick. Thanks a bunch guys. Also had a great time at the dragstrip. The 39 ran 61 mph with an 11.70 time in the 1/8 mile. Even beat a 68 Camaro. Flatheads forever!
