No doubt you were the kool guy at the show.

 

K13, looking at the car again I would say the rear half was "taper-sectioned" to lower the rear plus the front fenders "pie cut" to lower the nose which makes the entire car look like it is "drooping".

 

Please tell me this was a previous paint job to the white, and not the other way around

 

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure this is the current version.

 

@lucky I can't speak for Dan, but first time I saw his truck was white/copper. Last time was pewter/gray. His '56 Chevy 2 door post with a '56 Lincoln front bumper, has also undergone paint changes, at least 3 versions that I can think of.

Personally, I liked the white/copper version of his kustom pickup. I do know he drives his kustoms. Like, a lot!! Perhaps the changes are a matter of needing a refresh? You know, rocks, bugs, etc... Or maybe a new paint job just makes him feel like he's got a 'new' ride.

Whatever color of whatever kustom he's putting down the road, more power to him ... we should all be lucky to drive a kustom.

 

Currently he is finishing up repairing the truck. He had a wreck driving out to the Mid west and I believe it will still be light gray. I like the Kopper Kart style but the gray looks kool in person.
