sold!! Up for sale is a very nice Borg Warner V8 World Cl*** T5 transmission with a 2.95 ratio first gear. This is the rare and hard to find V8 gear set that has the close ratio gears, and would be perfect for an early Ford Hot Rod. This is the World Cl*** version, with roller bearings on the main shaft and the higher quality fiber synchro rings. I opened this transmission up to see the condition and it looks really nice. It also bench shifts smoothly and feels good in all gears. Endplay feels good. I'm happy to seal it back up if you want to run it as is or leave it unsealed if you plan to rebuild. As most of you know, the T5 with an S10 tailshaft housing is perfect for a hot rod since it has the shifter close to the bellhousing and works well with a bench seat. This ****** has following ratios that I verified by putting it in gear and turning it on the bench. 1st: 2.95 2nd: 1.94 3rd: 1.34 4th: 1.00 5th: .63 The gear ratios on this transmission make it perfect for a hot rod, and the T5s are very light and compact so they fit in most applications. It bolts right up to a small block chevy with the standard chevy bellhousing. May need a little trim of the input shaft depending on the application. Perfect for a Flathead Ford. These T5s are becoming harder to find. I will ship on buyer's dime, which will run about $170.
