it does sound like that old car didnt want to end up in cold old Blighty,but i'm sure it will make some nice old depatriated friends over here and be as happy as ever.It will be nice to see her out to play................Marq

Not sure if me posting on this old thread will bring it back up...... a certain clown on youtube reminded me of this road trip we did back in '05 in an older more basic car that had been stored for 30 years. 18 years on we still have the 39 and still happily married.
Anything can be repaired with a coat hanger... no dote in my mind! ;-)
