Plan to install this gauge to deal with the usage of the three Carter YH carburetors,
'54 Corvette stuff on my 269.85 cu. in. Chevy six, damn near a 270...
To place the gauge on the firewall or inside on the dashboard...
    Appreciate your ideas...Thanks, dyno Dave

Tough to read it when driving if on the firewall. Would be beneficial I guess when tuning under the hood.

Somewhere that a video camera can see it, as well as your tach, and throttle pedal or something that indicates throttle opening. A poor man's data acquisition system...

That will then give you an idea of what the other conditions are before you make mixture adjustments.

I put mine in a two gauge panel under the dash because there was really no other logical place.
it shares the panel with a vacuum gauge.
it would have been better to be more in direct line of sight and closer to the tach but..

I would temporarily mount it on the dash right in front of the steering wheel, until you are done with the major tuning.

Mine is mounted to a rubber covered ceramic magnet, I have it in clear sight when needed and under the dash when I don’t want to see it. It worked well to dial in the tune on the two Holley’s I have on the Boss engine.

That’s ok….a Z28 is damn near a 302…it was a 301 when we built them. It’s like a 327 is a 326+ but Pontiac already used that number. Your closer than both of them…
