History Military Bases with Car Clubs?

I was recently contacted by Got Metal? who was looking for info about a car he had purchased. It was raced by a group of airmen from March AF Base in CA. They called their club the Stratorods. The only thing I could find was an article in HotRod magazine but the body had been changed.

I do have a page on my website for base clubs that had car club plaques made for their members, but wonder if there were others.
