I got a little sidetracked earlier but I'm back with some more pics. I love this car, every time I look at it I find more cool stuff. It's got a dropped V8-60 axle and the other night royalshifter was over checking it out and said "Hey it's got exhaust cutouts!" They are hooked up with that old as the hills exhaust flex tubing. Today I took the wheels/tires off of Pepe to check and see about looks/fit........I'm headed to Coker on Monday to use my Alliance discount and get some new rubber. With Pepe's wheels/tires:
Check out the headliner and chrome garnish moldings: Door Panel: Under the hood: Here's what I hope to end up with: Just yankin' your chain.
HAHAHAHA........no kidding, that is one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. Who would put those headlights on that car?
This decal is in the window of the car.........has anyone ever heard of/know anything about the shop? In case you cant make it out it says "Serviced by Wohls Brooklyn New York".
[ Here's what I hope to end up with: Sweet. Those aren't the infamous Champ 500's are they? Needs a moon roof though.
I don't know what to say, and if you know me that's almost impossible. What a time capsul. I think your plans for it are perfect. If you need help driving it give me a call. Frank

In my junior year of high school I got my first car. It was a '39 Standard and I put a 265 Chevy in it with 3 deuces hooked to the stock ****** and rearend. My buddy had a '55 Chevy with a 327 and a locked rearend which was really quick out of the hole. The first day I had the '39 on the road we had a little go at a stop light on the way to school. We were both surprised that the '39 just blew his '55 away coming off the line. Sure was a fun car. Oh, that was in 1965!! Spiffy1937
