    Unfortunately there was not enough interest for circle track racing, so we opted to not do it.
    Renting the drag strip is expensive and adding the circle track expense on top of that didn’t make sense.

    If we get more folks wanting to do it next year we will consider it.

    Too bad I was very interested in oval track racing, unfortunately my club the Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modifieds races this Saturday at Fonda, NY 5 hours and 20 mins west.

    It seems like there is nothing vintage racecar/hot rod related going on or everything goes on in the same weekend.

    The same thing is happening The Rumble in The Country. We race the night before at Utica-Rome speedway Vernon, NY the night before. 3 hours and 35 mins west

    I'm picking my Dad (80 yrs) up tomorrow in Conn and then he and I are driving over Friday afternoon from NH. He raced back in the day at Conn Dragway and Charlestown RI.

    I only took one pic all weekend and it was of my own car. What a blast it was to hang with all my hot rod pals though. Fantastic weekend. @NoSurf I should’ve brought your Aquidneck Machine sign with me…
