OK... here you go... Gear grinding was due to my now RE- ENGINEERED clutch linkage, now it shifts smooth as... well SMOOTH.
NICE. I'll bet it would shift better if you put some damn gear oil in the box! Looks cool as hell I'm jealous of your roof.
Way ta go!!! What tranny do you have? That is the way to get those old circle trackers out on the road again.
OH... I figured out the clutch after our intial go around with it. I shortend the throw on my bottom rod and gained leverage and now its easy to push in the clutch... in that vid grinding first... pushing in the clutch was like stepping on a rock. I put oil in the trans now kev hahaha... I have another 3 speed just like it so I guess I have a backup- I didnt have oil in anything except the block- Its a standard 50 ford 3 speed, Open drive. I have seats in it too... I'll post some pics later, after I clean up the mess we made.
