I’ve only been to this event 3 times (1st time was in 2007). It may be down but there were still a lot of cars and people. I hung around for about 4 hours and still didn’t have time to see everything.

Welcome! Yeah! There was some good stuff there. Too bad I only captured a small fraction of what was there.
The previous owner of my 39 Deluxe sedan used to attend the Knoxville event. Maybe you’ve seen it before? It initially had a cut down 34 Ford front bumper and red wheels. It was probably a different color then. I don’t know how old the paint is. It’s a Ford Medium Wedgewood Blue. I’ll have to check when that color was first available. It has event plaques under the hood for the ‘98, 00, and 2001 shows.

Talked to a rep on Sat night; he said it was hovering around 2,500.

  17. Sounds about right. I went the last two years...there was around 3,000 cars. The count this year seemed down by a few hundred...but still lots to take in.

Thanks for sharing! Great pic's. I know it's been awhile since I've been to York, but wow, I remember you couldn't find a parking spot there!

I agree Straight Axle, at one time you couldn't find a parking space and both buildings were full of vendors. Look's like a lot of empty spaces. If a N.S.R.A. rep said 2500 cars then it must be around 2000, they have always inflated the count. I can remember the day's of almost 6000 cars. Not too many guys from my area attend any longer.
