Is anyone making a fuel sender for 55-56 wagons yet? Mines been leaking for quite. Plus now it's not working properly. It only is accurate about the first 1/4 tank. After that the gauge is all over the place.

Does it sit on the left side by the spare like a 57 wagon does?
    Any pictures?
The guys with 57 wagons have to make their own from a regular car one and changing the arm.

they don't make 57-59 wagon/ranchero ones, it might be the same for your wagon.

Nope. It sits dead center on top. I might look into trying to find someone that rebuilds them.

Is there sender like the factory one? What I saw was that it was only for their tank.

If I remember correctly it was like the original. The car wasn't driveable when I got it, I replaced tank and sender together. It came with the br*** screws and mounts the same way. The tank looks just like the original also.

Got mine from them also, but about 5 years ago. Packed away somewhere, not installed yet.

I ended up ordering one from Kanter. They ***ured me it's just like the original sender. We shall see.

Well, the Kanter one came in and it has the long float arm for p***enger cars. I'm thinking about just modifying the arm. I hate dealing with returns.

I bought one from Auto City Cl***ics, but at least 5 years ago. I did visually match it up to the original and it was the same. Currently wrapped and stored in storage facility. I'd give them a call.

They offered to give me a refund. I might take them up on it. I'm not sure who they get them from but apparently it's all my fault. I don't think the pictures lie. 20230715_162047.jpg 20230712_102626.jpg
