    Here's what I'll be pushin'! .... I hope:D

This is the newest picture I have....but here's what I'm bustin' *** trying to get together for the "project" area. Hey, a guy's gotta have a goal...right?
If you see it there, it's in gray sealer now, will have a set of whitewalls, rear being Hurst cheaters, and stained wood. I should have the QC rear together, and it's got a 289 / T-5 setup.

Hope to see you all there,

My brother and I will be bringing both of his cars. He will be drivng his chopped 49 Ford coupe and I get to wheel his 27 T roadster. I guess that I get the roadster because the weather is getting cooler and the coupe has heat. We are coming from just west of Indy so it should not be too tough a trip.
Incidentally the roadster is up for sale to finance his latest build, a 37 Willys ute. That's right a genuine Holden bodied Aussie Willys, right hand drive and all. Plans for the ute are not final yet but a blown Hemi is high on the list.
Looking forward to the Pile up as up til now the closest that I have come is magazine pix,

Guys, if you're planning on bring a "project car" for the project car section you need prior approval. Keep in mind that the project section is small, and we have a record number of vendors competing for the same space, so we can't just let in every non-running car. YOu need to let us know before loading up the trailer

Glad everyone is coming! I'll be there in my green/green 59 Belair and my girlfriend will be there in her green/red 51 Bel Air

  7. I'll be there in my windowless 55 Caddy. Oh **** no heat either , guess I better dress warm or bring a good looking girl to stay warm with.

I'm thinking that since it is October... maybe we should break tradition and use a pumpkin? Maybe? You diehards could still use an onion...

I'll be there in my '55 Plymouth.

  14. If I get the '54 back together in time, I'll bring it. Otherwise, I'll probably ride shotgun in my buddy's '55 Victoria. I've got a couple weeks yet, and a lot to do. Speaking of which, back to the garage I go.

Hey skawars, you could lower it by then... :D

Russco... FED? Um... **** yeah! But only if you promise to fire it up multiple times. :D

JR... yes, camping is allowed in the lot out front, BUT you'll need to check with the Fairgrounds staff when you arrive for their rules. I know they only allow camping in a certain area and no fires are allowed. I'm not sure of what else. We will put a portapottie out front so you guys don't piss yourselves waiting for the gates to open.

Also, we're working on getting a coffee shop to set up in the morning and sell coffee to all the early birds

It's not a theme. I really be a pirate matey. Arrrrgggghhh!

For some good pirate themed 80's metal, I suggest you get a hold of some stuff from a band called "Running Wild" all of their songs were about piracy, looting, and plunder. They also covered "Revolution" for some reason. It is awesome though.
