I bought this 31'Ford Tudor body back in 1989 from a friend in Germantown Ohio. Look familiar to anybody?

At the time it was on a stock A-bone frame, but fitted with a set-back motor plate, an aluminum sheet firewall, '57 rear end and dry rotted old pie crust racing slicks and a 34 front axle. It supposedly had been drag raced locally.

When I got it it was painted gold with white body reveal stripes and was painted white inside, as shown in the photo below. When I stripped the body it had been painted bright yellow (Milner's coupe color) at one time before the gold paint job.

Just thought I would throw this out there. Anybody have any history on this or maybe saw it run at the track back in the day?

Disregard the frame, tires and wheels etc in the photo, only the body in the photo is what I am hoping somebody remembers.

    StockBody.jpg

    Thanks

No doubt. When I chemically stripped the body it had been painted bright yellow (Milner's coupe color) at one time before the gold paint job.

BTT.... Anybody remember seeing this Tudor running at the drags in Ohio, Indiana or Kentucky ? When I bought it it was on a stock A-bone frame, but fitted with a set-back motor plate, an aluminum sheet firewall, '57 rear end and dry rotted old pie crust racing slicks and a 34 front axle. It supposedly had been drag raced locally.
