Fridays are mostly retirees whose arms are too short to reach their wallet.

    Hello,
As we all know, we have been in a funk type of weather pattern for the last several months. Usually, that type of overcast/cloudy/foggy/rainy weather is along the coast for a couple of weeks until this time. June Gloom is a correct term. But, it started back in April... ha!

Forecast for June: Cloudy in the morning...becoming partly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning, plus, ight drizzle...

Your photo from that area should have been "hot and sunny" in a normal year, in June.

Perhaps as the location moves inland, there should be some sun! but, the weather pattern is deep and just sitting along the coast and miles inland. So, get used to the June Gloom for the next week or so..

For visitors to So Cal, for us, it is sweatshirt weather and at night the lowest areas in the valleys need jackets. It is relatively warm, high 60s - low 70s, but there is some ocean breeze that tends to cool things off in the shade... I know, what shade... No shadow photography for Hotrod/Custom Shadows hosted by @Stogy YRMV

NOTE: We have not been able to go out in the yard to plant some new shrubs and trees. It has been drizzling along the coast... move over Seattle, So Cal is copying that weather from that Northwest area for months, now... yikes !

    Hello,
Wouldn't you know it, it was so thick and gloomy this morning. But we braved the whole overcast cold weather for some outdoor planting and upkeep for our yard. Just before lunch, the clouds parted and we got clear blue skies and sun. Now, it is T-shirt weather and the sky is as blue as any given Sunday in July, except it is still June. Ha!

The weather gods are playing tricks on us for a good time joke.

I should have clarified a bit better. We wanted to close the purchase on a set of plates that day but our pockets were short because we didn’t expect to come across John that day. So we called a friend who was also at Long Beach that morning and got the remaining cash. :)
