History '35-'40 fenderless coupes

I'm pretty partial to this era coupe, especially 35/36. Of course, not a lot were done like this for a really good reason: It doesn't look right. I don't think I have ever seen one done this way that looked good. The few that get a pass in my book are the ones built for the strip, like the Reath Automotive car. They didn't have to look good, just go fast.

Don't do it. The few cars built that way looked crappy then, and they look crappy now.

 

DO IT,,,, early cars built with mud road fenders ,, looked crappy back then,, and they all still look crappy now...
