LS7 are a great low-cost late model block option though. I recently discovered those.

Motor and trans are one unit! Special thanks to all the guys at Bowler transmissions for all the help! Fitting the hood, then the motor and trans are ready to be put in.

Sure cant wait to have her back on the road. While putting the coupe back together I have been using a 3d scanner that I use for work to get the coupe into my computer to design a rear roll pan and the turbo ducting from the 32 cowl vent. I am uploading some soldworks screen shots to show where Im at in the process.

Got the body channeled and the grill raised for the best fit I could for the hood in the future. Body and engine scanned, time to start putting the turbo parts back on. Its been 14 years since I started this post. Hopefully I will finally get this thing together the way I originally intended. Its no ones fault but my own. Being a Hotroder is not a hobby its a lifestyle.

  8. Wow, that's luxurious. It'd be cool if you started a separate thread for your scanning and SolidWorks stuff. Did you scan the body?

Yes the body is scanned. inside and out. scanned the engine and trans separate and pieced it all together in solidworks.

Got the sbc back in with the new magnum t56. The new t56 had a wider transmission mount boss compared to the viper t-56 that was in the car before. Next step is to put all the turbo stuff back on. KIMG0615.JPG
