Here's a more recent photo of my 55 Cameo when it was all loaded up to go to the drag strip.

 

1962 unibody

 

Mine, imported it from Rancho Palo Verdes in 2004, been a long time full strip down body off build.

 

It WAS a pick up.

 

First time on the road in 2yrs..

 

My '41 Chevy with a hopped-up 235ci straight six, T5 transmission, 12-bolt rear and dropped front axle.

 

Coney Island Steeplechase. ?????????

 

My daughter's first car - 1962 GM Holden EK Utility (EK ute), Eastern Creek dragway, Sydney Australia. 138ci "grey" motor, 3-speed crashbox on the tree, 3.89:1 banjo. 20.8s@60mph. With factory 2453lb and 75BHP, the calculators reckon there is another second in it, though we were going gently.

Had a 54 grill and I never found any 48 bits on it - except the registration. As I am in a pre 49 Club, I got a lot of crap from my clubmates.
Sold it a few years back for NZ$33 (about USD$20) to a mate & a couple of owners later its back on sale now for NZ$80 (about USD$50)

Inflation is rife

 

Here's my '32 Ford pickup that's been on the road since 2008. I originally built it to pull my Route 66
themed Burro camper. This was at the Vintiques Rod Run and Camp Out in Watertown, South Dakota in 2008
