Hi I'm new to the site and i have the car sickness ! I recently purchased a 55 Victoria its a strange duck it has a 1966 289 i think its Hipo engine and it has a top loader 4 speed . Well anyway, the car has a 1956 dash was that a thing for these cars ? Did they change mid year? thanks
....I think '56 is when Ford changed to 12 volt system. Someone may have put a '56 dash in your '55 and converted the car to 12 volt negative ground and the gauges would have been right at home with the new system.
thanks i meet a gentleman that had a mint 56 and he told me it was swapped to a 56 , the only reason im seeing is that the gauges are right infront of you and most work!
I also have another issue, the owner lowered it with lowering blocks and it rides terrible how can i make it ride like my old imperials!? any help would be appreciated before i start throwing the internet parts counter at it! thanks !
