I recently ran into an issue with fuel tank venting. I'm running fuel injection with the pump inside the stock tank. I didn't use fuel pump venting on the pump because I have the stock vent tube. I have opened the cap and had a sound of air rushing in (or out can't tell) when it has been on long hauls. I checked the hose back to the license plate and it was clear. I put a coat hanger wire into the tank side and had some resistance there until I hit solid metal. Does anyone know if that vent has a baffle or check of some sort inside the tank? It flows air now, just wondering how it's made.

It is just an open tube that runs inside the trunk. You should be able to see it in the left rear wheel well area in the trunk. It makes too many bends to get a wire hanger all the way through it. Unhook the vent at the tank and blow air through the tube back towards the license plate to make sure it is clear.

Tube is open, it's the tank fitting. Wondering if it has a baffling.
