    After '54, series II Mets had BMC B series engines in them. In 1200 or 1500 cc versions. That's the MGB's engine family. In the MGB, they were stretched to 1798cc, 100hp and electric OD could be had. MGB parts are plentiful. I would look there. It would keep up with modern traffic.
    I have a '78 Triumph Spitfire organ donor for my '65 Triumph Herald. That's, more or less, the beginning and end of that chassis' family. Mike

  8. There is one near where I live that has a 2.8 Liter 60 degree Chevy V6 in it. It is surprising how easy that installation looks to be. It is a rather neat little car.

    Here is the Kustom I am currently building. Lots of work done, lots to go. Convertible top is being chopped to look like a carson top.

    Looked deeper into this car, way more than I want to tackle. So, I sold it, and made some money.;)
