Looks like a nice part. This item has also been reproduced for many years by Model Engineering.

  3. I ordered mine yesterday. The clutch arm from Model Engineering is cast, I hope that the arms from Third Gen Automotive are not cast also.

The photo looks cast. I don’t see a nice wide parting line. Hopefully he’ll log in and tell us about it.

Tried calling Third Gen to check on if the arm was cast or forged. No luck, Bankers Hours. Maybe next week?

Cast arms have no place for a brake or clutch lever. Don't take a chance on parts manufactured with the wrong material. I bought a brake cross shaft kit from Model Eng for my '32 Roadster. With the car up on axle stands and after bleeding the brakes I pressed down on the brake pedal with force and snapped one of the arms off the shaft. I called Gene at Model Eng and also sent him pictures, he told me he would replace the broken arm. He did not acknowledge that he had used the wrong material and very likely my car would have been totaled because of the inferior material and design. I made my own levers out of cold rolled steel and cut the keyways. Buyer beware.!!!

    Shipping Delay
Please be advised we will be short staffed the week of June 12-16 because of the 2023 Grand National Celebration. There is also a postal Holiday Monday June 19th. There may be a one day shipping delay on all orders placed during this time.

  9. The New 32 clutch arms are Investment cast steel. Not cast iron. For those that are curious. I hope that helps. I do not make them, but I buy them from the manufacturer and sell them as well. ~josh

  10. I got my clutch arm the other day. It appears to be a quality part. I wish that they offered a new locking pin with it.
