Looks a bit large, but maybe an MG TD. Mid 50s maybe?

  4. I was wondering that
The grill, fender swoop and doors look like 33-34
If it’s a custom, wonder if anyone recognizes it.

The two-tone paint and the wide white-walls wouldn't have been commonly seen on these MGs so that's kind of a distraction. I'd p*** on the WSW tires but the two-tone paint looks pretty good on it!
    :)

The windshield angle on that Singer looks closer to the original pic. But I can't make out if the front "wings" (fenders) are skirted like that.

  10. That’s cool.
    Never seen one.
I think the door handle placement is throwing me off for the one I posted.

No clue on the car, but I’ve never seen a bus with opposing folding doors. Pretty cool.

    That's probably because you're not a man of "a certain age". :p

    A swing and a miss !
    It's not a MG TF.
TF's had the headlights coming out of the fenders in a molded fairing.

Was Singer a US make or?

  22. Car in question is much bigger than a Singer. How about a Sunbeam Talbot give or take a few years and fenders. The car posted also has no hood louvres.

. . . except the notch behind the door is almost vertical.

(I used to drag race a guy with a TC with my stock Model A pickup. "Sporty"?
Not if you can't beat a Model A!
