A friend of my dad's....Todd Doc Rawleigh called it "double blown" and was selling the engine before going Chrysler, claiming 750Hp on MeOH. He never talked about it, but probably looking for more boost, but probably garnered a bit of heating. I can remember sometime in late 50's Todd was bragging during a racers dinner after a Famosa meet, and Christman ask what do you mean you had two engines. I think Todd was kinda of embarr***ed thinking everybody knew he was a big time racer. Todd was later very successful w/ drag boats in a flatbottom using a Chrysler wedge

Two D/Dragsters, one a flattie and one an inline, as they were generally lumped together in the same cl***, after the OHVs came on the scene. and into prominence. BTW is that a brake handle or a radio antenna??? Some of us still prefer the inliners or flatties...
