Does anyone know if the SBC 350 Vortec uses the same exhaust manifold as any SBC made? I'm putting it in my 1941 Ford Business Coupe and having the typical problem of avoiding the steering box. I am really trying to avoid the front exit of the exhaust and having it go out the rear. Most of the posts say to use the p***enger side exhaust and going out the front since I can't weld all the pipes needed. But again do I need a special manifold for the Vortec?

looks to me like that's the only part of the heads that's like the original small block.

Manifolds bolts on, but the ports are slightly higher.

Also I believe the later dip stick is on the p***enger side. So depending on which manifolds, it could be an issue.
