When did this happen?

 

My basement shop recently got flooded. I had to discard a photo album that was water damaged but I managed to salvage this photo sequence. It occurred about 50 years ago. That was my old Logghe altered, which I still own and occasionally race at nostalgia events. I wish I knew who took the pics so I could credit the photographer.

 

Definitely a pucker moment.

 

Very cool that you remember the J & J Bantam. I purchased it last may and I'm working on restoring it.

 

Around 1990, on display. Restored Pure Heaven II, owned by Bob Nylander and Ken Pike's Bantam Hunter painted but unlettered and striped. The front wheel just sticking out is Jerry Rushing's Fiat. All were in front of the Specialty Cars trailer.

 

What happened to Specialty Cars? I ordered lots of parts from them.

 

Specialty Cars who was a supporter of the cars was on Roseton St in Artesia. I believe that they are in Fullerton now. They are on the H.A.M.B.

 

Bantam Hunter lettered and striped, Ken Pike in the seat.

 

Great to see this thread back in action with new / fresh car pictures.

Dang.....and there's a rare picture of the 195A/H re-creation.....still stock block and heads but now a 392......
