I turned 17 in 1973. I saw AG on the big screen drive in, here in town, when it came out.
I was in love with Milner's coupe, it took me nearly 20 years before I was able to even find a 30s car I could afford, and there wasn't much of it left. It never did look like Milner's coupe, but it was a 30s car. It took until 1995 to get it on the road.

The problem with going to the movie theater to watch any movie I want to see, means I have to endear 10 minutes of woke, in your face propaganda previews.

There's nothing like the experience of seeing a good movie in a theater. I don't care how big your TV is. I can't wait for Aug. 26 to see it again in a theater!

I just gotta say it. I originally payed to watch it at a theatre once, enjoyed it, but that was enough to last me a while. Watched it again on satellite TV a few years ago; then the third time was enough, turned TV off half way through.

Don't watch network TV much either. There are TV sources that don't have that stuff on them.
Facebook is just for the things I want to look at, on a very limited basis. Its easy to skip the BS.
I don't live for my phone either. It is a communication device I use to suit my purposes.

There are sources of accurate information that don't come with all the garbage, or they give you the option of tuning out what you don't want.

We don't have drive in movies in my area any longer, but what would be cool if the drive in allowed anyone with a hot rod in for free. It could turn into a mini car show.

  14. There's reason I watch old TV shows and movies.......some of us weren't born in those eras and don't work in the hot rod field so we're not immersed in it. I like looking at the cars, people, buildings, gas prices, streets.......anything. If I'm going to pretend I'm in another time when I'm driving I need real footage.

I gotta my fix from somewhere :)

I've seen it more than a few times also, theaters and home. Going to see it again on the big screen, this time with my grandkids who always wonder about my hot rods and my stories of the things we used to do in them. My generation is just about gone, but theirs is just starting and having them share just a little piece of my past with old hot rod cars through this movie is sure worth seeing it again.

If you don't have earbuds, they're cheap. Buy some, plug them into your phone, bring up Pandora or any other music site you like and listen to that until the show starts. Screw the propaganda, you're there to have a good time :).
