That's the coolest selection of sled pics I've seen in a while. I'd say "low and slow" is alive and well in Muncie.
I had to stare at the pics of the cool 41 ford custom for 15 minutes straight to get the vision of that last merc out of my brain. ooh.. I think it's coming back. I need to barf.
The weather really has not ben to bad. It has rained a couple times but not really bad and not very long. Here are some pix from Sat http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=12866760&uid=1436522
Cool pictures ,Man. Did you see the guy dressed up like Count Dracula with the '57 Plymouth that had two coffins attached to it being used as trailers? I'll post the pictures of him when I get a chance. The wife and I saw a lot of "cool" cars there Saturday. I was disappointed in the swap meet. Maybe all the "good" stuff was already sold? I did have a very nice chat with a fellow "T" bucket owner from Ohio. To me that made up for the rain and swap meet. Thanks.
I think you guys missed something with the last Merc. What looks like an overworked design on the mirrors, is actually one of those trash containers like they have at the amusement parks, where you stick your trash up to the hole and it sucks it right out of your hand. Hopefully, thats where the blueprints went.
Here are a few from Sunday http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=12879303&uid=1436522 Or here http://www.picturetrail.com/pyrocars for Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sun.
Hey all! Only ended up being there for a few hours on Friday. Something happened to the motor coming out of the park around 8PM.. Pulled the plugs, #8 was hammered shut... Think the motor broke a ring, but wont know until the head comes off... Was really looking forward to talking with some of you and cruisin around Saturday.. Here are two pics of the car, when it was running.. About 7 miles on the Merc and it already needs the engine rebuilt!!!! -KatsAss
