was workin hard last night and tonight, got the body out of the way and the k-member out also, bolted the fire wall back in place and stuck the trans on the motor and swung it in place, did a bunch of measuring and centering, then tied the motor on place where i wanted it. then i started putsing and thinking of how i wanted to mount my engine.....heres what i came up with

i also pondered over some ideas for the trans mount, think im gonna go with an x member type, heres some ideas i had for that, i think i can also incorporate the pedal assembly into it(like a 40 ford). ill also cut holes in it like and original ford x member. ill also have to run the exaust through there cause i dont want it hanging down below the frame rails, but ill have to make sure everything fits first. well thats all the progress for tonight.

Lookin good. I really like the green wheels with the 46 caps. Those are my favorite hubcaps.

I wish I could get that much done on my project...oh well, I did get a little done last weekend.

Oh man, you can't use that TH400, it's the wrong color. Better just let me have it... [IMG]

  11. Very nice design.
    I like em.

Am curious about the metal gage though - is it 1/8" or am I being fooled by the angle?

What type of trans is that? I have a dyna-slow on mime it does not look like that. The mounts look sweet!

  13. Nice mounts! Wish I had done something like that. How about some lightening holes in the sides? Just a thought.
Found anymore 27 t'decks or 32 rails? [IMG]
