Ford Motor Company over the counter accessory systems. There was a set of carburetors specific to 260 c.i.d. engines and another set specific to 289 c.i.d. engines. Linkage kits to adapt systems to different types of Ford vehicles had to be ordered separately.

The 3-2V systems were strictly over the counter for any 260/289 Ford powered vehicle. Neither system was offered as factory installed on a new car before transfer to a dealer, includes Shelby cars.

Shelby American never register a 3-2V system with any of the racing clubs in the USA or with the F.I.A. that I ever seen in the factory do***ents I have copies of.
