He makes good videos, perhaps one day he'll build a hot rod. Figured he would have already being that he kind of grew up around all that with his dad being in the Choppers and all
I have been following Ben's stuff a while now. He's got the eye and growing his channel. Great to see the younger generation that involved. But, it is in his blood, after all.
His dad has influenced a generation with his design work... though many don't realize it... And it sure looks to me that his son has inherited the same sensibilities. Huge deal. BTW, I only know Aaron in p***ing... and have never met Ben. These are just genuine observations.
The kid has talent, I love the way he inserted aviation into the video, gotta love early hot rods & bi planes. Reminds me of our late friend Casey. HRP
Been watching 4 Speed youtube channel for a while now, good start that gets better and better each time round. Great to see a young person beinga able to enjoy his p***ions and share it with us.
From an Oilers Page It all started one cold night in November, 1947, when 8 young men from Carlsbad, CA came together over coffee at the APEX cafe. It was there that they transformed their dreams of forming a roadster and custom car club into a reality. That evening Oilers Car Club was born and their first president, Jim Nelson, lead the charge. Nelson's p***ion for racing brought the Oilers members and the Southern California Timing ***ociation (SCTA) together. Nelson's friend and SCTA founder, Wally Parks, announced his plans to form the National Hot Rod ***ociation (NHRA), in 1949. Fast forward to 2008, when a group of young traditional hot rod enthusiasts found a copy of Robert Genat's book, "The Birth of Hot Rodding, The Story of the Dry Lakes Era." Tired of boring jacket clubs and parking lot car shows, this new generation of men set out to create a car club/motorcycle club with meaning, and were put in touch with the one and only, Jim Nelson, the Oilers founder. During a private meeting in Nelson's home, the group heard stories first hand as Nelson relived the good ole days. The laughs and tears rolled faster than Nelson's nitro fueled 1929 Ford roadster on a dry lake bed. An instant bond was formed and Nelson, with no hesitation, p***ed the torch on, opening a new chapter in the Oilers history.
That was fun, gave me extra smiles,,and reminds me how wide a line ,there was an still is,even with all this time gone by,,; is between hotrods for the street and drag cars,an those that are a mix.. The line can't be findly defind***** > If that makes scents. Lot of variables an ways to make fun!!!
