The best part about these pictures is that the pipes are blue, a sign of use. Very nice pictures @jnaki .
Posted this but I guess one of my photos had the back end of my OT pickup. I don’t think the cut off teardrop trailer was the problem…any way I found room a home and brought my Indian out of storage and home for the summer…. Looks like it’s been 3 years since I road…
My brother fired up his 48 Chief last weekend for a ride in the cool evening. I just stood there with a big grin as I took in all the great sounds and smells as it was warming up in the shed. Have fun
Rode to Donut Derelicts in Huntington Beach this morning… Overcast and not hot. Lot was full before 7am. Parked behind George’s 56 Corvette. Been 3 years since I had Dads Indian out for a ride.
Hello, A custom Harley Sportster with a nice rake and springer forks. But for power, an early 1962 SU carb was added along with other speed parts. Why an SU carburetor? They were simple to tune and ran better than any stock Harley carburetor. Plus, they had a “custom” look that made it stand out. there were other versions of the old 1962 SU carburetors, such as running two round chrome cap carbs with open chambers. Straight equal length headers tuned to the 88 decibel mark passed inspection. To make it legal, a small mirror was added. Most custom motorcycles are street versions and some are used as daily drivers. This one had many miles on the street and had entered the LB Municipal Auditorium car shows in the motorcycle division. Jnaki A lot of inspiration from the multi color flames has been used in my own “flame” artwork. YRMV They don’t match the original, but then again, I am not a professional flame artist or detailed pinstriper…
