History Low Riders, Zoots Suiters and "Pachucos"

They may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I like them, and man they put the love and labor into them for sure. I hazard a guess that, you never see one "in the works", because it's all about perfection.. shine like a new penny from every angle, not a dent or blemish visible. From the sublime simplicity of a smoothed out 49-52 Chebbie to a loaded '39 (?) like that one up there^^^^^... love 'em all.

looks like WWs, visor, spot light, dual fogs, bumper guards and chrome horn?

 

I may be wrong ( incorrect that is) but the vehicle itself looks like an Oldsmobile.

 

Never thought about it before but you are right. You never see a half finished car, always to the max.

At 75, I'd have to start over a bunch of times because I would keep losing my place and forget where I left off.

 

I think this thread should stay back in the 40’s and earlier….the newer lowrides are hopping 3 wheelers today…. The older “gents” were on the right path…and stayed with it!
