As a car guy, the pinnacle is when a magazine asks if they can feature your car in their magazine. @rodding_usa_magazine asked me if they could do just that. It's crazy that something I, family, and friends put together was chosen to have a feature done on the coupe. It's in the latest issue out now, issue 63. THANK YOU, RODDING USA, for the feature. I just might be getting the hang of this car-building thing.
Kudos for the print job. A very, very high percentage of us learned to love the mags before the real thing. Any 227 before pics?
Congrats, Ron! Just saw this over on Chip's FB page. Here's a shot of Ron's coupe in 2014 at the first Phoenix Hot Rod Hundred (which I wish we still were still doing): (This was the first outing of the new-to-me '31 coupe that Chip now owns.)
Dreamed of that for 60 years. Finally got featured in Street Rodder, then they went out of business a couple months later.
Congratulations @Hot Rod Ron that is a sweet 32-5 window coupe and the guy from Rodding USA realised just that, that it was worthy of a feature.
Congratulations! It is quite the feeling, I was lucky enough to have my T modified on the cover and a feature in rod and custom 2007.
That’s really cool! Paul Martinez who runs the mag took feature pics of my dad’s 38 coupe in 1984 for a mag. I saw him at his booth at GG Des Moines and subscribed to Rodding USA, so hopefully my issue is in the mail.
It's one thing to go outside and look at your car, but its totally a different kind of buzz, when you see your car featured in a national publication ! Congratulations on getting recognition for your good work ! @Hot Rod Ron
Freaking awesome! That is something to proud of for sure. Great build and very deserving. I have had one of my motorcycles be a feature bike in a magazine and I was so proud. What a great feeling.
Thank you, everyone, for the comments. Just trying to represent the HAMB correctly. If you do not have a subscription or just want the issue with the coupe in it, here is a link to the magazine. https://www.roddingusa.com/
Very cool! Congrats and very cool coupe! I figure by the time I get a car built that might be magazine worthy, print will be dead.
