Few more pictures of the windshield.
The final fitment and glass will be done once all the bodywork is done. Oh. My. God. That's an incredible piece of work. Not just the w/s frame, which is jewelry, the entire project. I admit I winced at the title at first. ;)

The windshield frame turned out great, a real piece of craftsmanship.

Thanks ! Yeah it's misleading title in like taildragger fenderskirt type kustom :D But i think custom build chrome (stainless steel) things are more kustom than traditional hotrodding. Expecially the dashboard ;)

Lovely work, please keep posting here, some of us choose to avoid IG ;)

  13. Just saw this thread - really great workmanship, ideas, imagineering, etc.. The windshield alone is a piece of rolling art! It shows you've got a big dose of Sisu to pull from. I'm 1/2 Finn . . . ;)

    Kustom dashboard :
I'll start posting next the dashboard build.
I build this dashboard during last winter.

It started of with an high-tec design :D
    And 1954 oldsmobile gauges. IMG_20230515_153135.jpg

    First needed to build solid frame for gauges. IMG_20220916_214102.jpg IMG_20220917_195502.jpg IMG_20220916_213756.jpg IMG_20220917_195437.jpg IMG_20220916_214034.jpg IMG_20220916_214247.jpg IMG_20220917_195529.jpg IMG_20220917_195650.jpg

    Fits like a glove : IMG_20220917_195236.jpg IMG_20220917_195206.jpg IMG_20220917_195046.jpg IMG_20220917_195013.jpg

  17. I hope when you complete this car, that it can come to the States for something like the Grand National Roadster show - given all that you're doing, it might just be a contender (depending on the finish work, upholstery, etc..)

  22. Did you get much warpage when you welded that 'bead' above the dash? Looks like it required a lot of weld to fill that in. Just curious . . .

  23. Wow! Now you're not building a Hotrod anymore. Nothing less than a piece of art.

At first i was worried about that, but tig welded and cooled step by step it didnt warp at all. Also the "dash rail panel" on cowl is very thick U-shape panel.
