Looking for pictures with cars using these big trim rings. I just picked up a set of stainless chrome ones from KKOA but I can't recall ever seeing a car with em. They did not come with the mounting springs so any help would be greatly appreciated. I think I can weld on another trim ring and make em work either way.
    Thanks fellas

I've had "Shoebox Fords" off and on since 1957 and I don't ever remember seeing them with anything like those. My older brother had a '47 Chrysler with something very similar, though.

I’ve got a couple of sets of those rings but they are shiny stainless like regular trim rings that came out of a NOS Ford box too. I have the springs that you use to put them on but they’re buried deep inside my side garage with my ‘50 convertible. I’ll see if I can figure out how to get to them for you to take pics of them. All I know is my dad and I looked for many years before finding them.
